Happy October everyone!

I hope the fall weather is treating everyone kindly and you are getting your pumpkin spice fill!  We continue to work through the COVID pandemic with the increasing positivity rate.  There have been no changes to the visitation in the facility regarding the residents.  Please remember all visitors must wear a mask and it must be a paper mask, if you do not have one the facility will provide one for you.  We continue to ask that you refrain from visiting if you have symptoms of COVID-19 or a known exposure to COVID-19.  We will continue to follow the CDC recommendations and keep you up to date on any changes.

We also are entering into the influenza season; all residents will be offered the influenza vaccine, and consents have been sent out for signature.  Please ensure you get the consent back to the facility as soon as possible, so we can get an accurate count of those wanting the vaccine.  If your loved one does not want the vaccine, please send the consent back with the denial as well.  We do not have an actual administration date but should be pulling this all together very soon.  We will also be administering influenza vaccines to our staff.

We continue to make safety of our residents and staff a top priority at Mill Valley Care Center!  Thank you for allowing our staff to provide care to your loved ones!
