April Minear, RN
Director of Nursing
Visitation has begun!! We cannot tell you how nice it is to see the faces of our loved ones in the building! The staff and the residents are ecstatic, and you can see a change in smiling faces. (even under the masks lol.) I hope you all have received your letters with visitation guidance on them, and if not, please call the facility and ask to speak with Amy, Cheri, or myself.
With the arrival of spring also comes the arrival of seasonal allergies. When visiting your loved ones, please be mindful if you have any symptoms, headache and congestion, sore throat, muscle or body aches, these can be symptoms of both covid and allergies. We ask that you refrain from visiting until you are feeling better.
Our Vaccination rate continues to be near 100% for which we are thankful. I encourage our family and friends to really look at which vaccination suits you and would be available to you. I have heard that soon vaccines will be available to everyone that wants one. It is important to remember that social distancing, hand washing / hand sanitizer and wearing a mask is the safest way to avoid getting covid-19.
So grateful this month seeing the faces of our families again! Any questions, please feel free to call facility and ask to speak to April. Have a healthy, happy Spring!!
