April showers bring May flowers. This month is full of fun for us at Mill Valley. May 8-14 is Nursing Home Week. We are so excited to celebrate with our residents and staff members. We have a bunch of fun things planned for all. Lots of delicious food and fun planned for the week. I’ll let Joy, our Activity Director, speak more to that.
May is a time we look forward to more warm weather. We are excited to start getting outside. We saw a lot of wind in March and April, so hopefully that will calm down a bit. I’ve had a lot of questions on taking residents out on pass. We welcome families to spend time with our tenants and residents. If taking your loved one out for the day, please let us know ahead of time, so we can plan out mealtimes and plan for medications. We know everyone is excited to go out, and we are excited to have them out and about for a breath of fresh air.
Happy Mother’s Day to all of our residents who are mothers and/or mentors. Also, Happy Mother’s Day to all of our community members. We appreciate your continued support!!!
We also want to wish a warm welcome to Maya our new Restorative Nurse!!! Welcome to the team.
Enjoy the warmer weather everyone.
