Hello everyone,

Fall seems to get shorter and shorter every year.  As we continue to struggle through this pandemic, we are looking ahead to the winter season and hoping that we will be able to introduce indoor visitation at some point.  Two things are critical for us to be able to proceed with this process.  We need to see a steady decline in the positivity rate of COVID in Jackson County.  This county continues to remain a hot spot for COVID activity, and we are hoping to see it decline soon, but we will have to see.  We also need to be able to keep COVID out of our facility.  That is very difficult to do with it being so prevalent in the community, but we are trying very hard to do just that.  If we can go for an extended period and not have any active cases in our facility, than we can look towards indoor visitation.  It is our hope that we will be able to accomplish this as the weather gets colder.  We will continue to test staff and residents as required by public health.  Please encourage all to social distance and wear masks while in public.  Thank you.
