Alaina Martensen (Above and Beyond Home Health Care, Monticello, Iowa) for hosting “Fun with Alaina”.  Residents and tenants outlined, traced, colored, and cut out each of the 50 states of America on paper and attached each state onto a bulletin board for display.

Laura McCool (volunteer) for hosting and making available “Knitting with Laura” & “Crocheting” and reminiscing with the residents/tenants at MVCC during the afternoon on Tuesdays.

Dave Eischeid and Karen Dunne (volunteers) for hosting “Artwork with Dave and Karen” (artwork classes) at MVCC during the morning on Thursdays and helping our resident/tenant students unlock their art talents.  The Bellevue Arts Council for sponsoring these Painting Classes.

Thanks to all the residents, tenants, families, and staff for their assistance during our Annual Father’s Day Gathering during the morning of Sunday.  Gloria Petesch (volunteer) for providing musical entertainment with the tenants/residents at SVAL/MVCC during the noontime meal on Father’s Day.

To help celebrate Nursing Assistants Week, “goodies” were assembled and presented to our RCTs/CNAs during the afternoon on Friday.

Thanks to all those involved with the Annual 56th Bellevue Heritage Days Celebration on Sunday, July 1, 2018.  Thanks to the Bellevue City Hall, Bellevue Police Department, Bellevue Chamber of Commerce, Bellevue Heritage Committee, Bellevue Community, and to all those who encouraged the parade route and parade entries to pass by MVCC/SRVAL.  Thanks to all the parade entries that came by SVAL/MVCC and included us in their travel route.  This helped our residents/tenants to join in the festivities and be engaged in this community celebration, focused on “Hometown Pride”.  Each passing parade entry/float was appreciated, capturing much excitement and receiving many happy smiles.  Thanks for remembering us and making a difference in the lives of our residents/tenants.  Thanks to all the involved staff for their participation and support with the residents and tenants during the parade event on Sunday morning.

Thanks to all the unnamed individuals who visited one-on-one with the residents / tenants to help uplift their days.  Thanks to all the residents, tenants, families, friends, visiting school children and teachers, volunteers, staff (Administrative, Nursing, Dietary, Housekeeping, Laundry, Maintenance, and Activity Departments), local area (Bellevue, Maquoketa, Preston, Andrew, St. Donatus, Springbrook) businesses, churches, and organizations, and other unnamed individuals for their assistance and support with all our activities / events / donations of the past month.
