From the Desk of the Administrator

As we approach mid-July, I would like to reflect on the positive things that have happened over the past month or so.  We have welcomed many new staff to our community, which has been a great thing.  We had a well-attended “Meet and Greet” and invited the community to come and attend a taco and margarita bar.  We have participated in sundaes with Eric from Grandpa’s Parlor, that residents and staff very much enjoyed celebrating Nurse Assistant Week.  Some of the staff participated in the parade on the 4th of July in Bellevue.  The residents have been able to be more active in participating in outside activities.  One of the great things we did was raise the new flag that was graciously donated my Richard and Karen Osar.  The flag was flown over the capital building, it was gifted to us, and we continue to fly it proudly.

We continue to have COVID restrictions but have not had any positive residents or staff and hope to continue on that path.  We invite families and friends to come and visit and hopefully get back to a “new norm”.  We have plenty of outdoor seating and a large family area for the residents to visit.  If you don’t have a mask, one will be provided for you.
