Hi!  My name is Harold Mootz.  I was born in the Springbrook-Bellevue area to Frank and Ludvina (Weis) Mootz, and I grew up with 6 siblings on a farm by Springbrook.  I enjoyed raising coon hounds and enjoyed hunting raccoons, pheasant, and deer, among others.  I loved to farm and manage two farms in the Spragueville for the Doc Feuerbach family from Preston for many years.  After that, I managed a quarry north of Clinton for Wendling Quarries prior to retirement.

I was previously married to Donna Timmer, and we had four children together, Diane, Terry, Annette and John.  We enjoyed family get-togethers and dancing.  We later divorced and I married Betty Hansen.  We enjoyed playing cards, dancing, and buying and selling antique glassware.  We lived outside Miles until she passed away.  I enjoy being a grandpa and great-grandpa.
