October was a busy month for the Dietary Department.  The new fall/winter menus have started.  Assisted Living Week, which was postponed from September, was celebrated including special treats made from the Dietary Department, and National Healthcare Food Service Week was celebrated.  I’d like to take a minute to thank each member of our Dietary Team for all the hard, kind work they do.  Karen Parramore (Dietary Cook), Erma Naeve (Dietary Cook), Anna Zeimet (Dietary Cook), Paula Moeller, (Dietary Aide) and Virginia Valant (Dietary Aide).  This team have “Hands that Serve and Hearts that Care”, and we thank you!!!

With November approaching and Thanksgiving right around the corner, we would like to remind you to get your reservations in early for our Thanksgiving Dinner with your loved ones.  The menu will be Turkey Roast, Mashed Potatoes/Gravy, Stuffing, Corn, Dinner Roll and Apple Pie.  The cost for our holiday meal is $15.00.  Please contact Jill Huling at the facility with your reservations, as seating is limited.
