Susan Cates, RN
Restorative Nurse
Hello! My name is Susan Cates, and I am the new Restorative Nurse. I currently live in DeWitt, Iowa, with my husband and three children. I have a child in kindergarten, 7th grade, and 11th grade. My 11th grader is being inducted in to the National Honor Society.
I was previously working as a clinic manager of a local dialysis facility, where I also worked as an inpatient and outpatient nurse. Before that, I was a charge nurse on a surgical trauma floor, where I obtained my Board Certification for Radical Surgical Nursing.
In my free time, I love being outdoors, kayaking, crafting, and anything that involves plants. I have an avid love for animals. We have four cats, one dog, one fish, two hermit crabs, and four chickens. I hope someday to run a farm and have many more animals.
I am very thankful and excited to be here at Mill Valley in this beautiful community. Bellevue is absolutely breathtaking. I look forward to meeting everyone and joining this amazing team.
