Hello to everyone!

Regarding visits with the residents and tenants during these trying times, facility policy has been updated, as of March 17, 2021.  Please see the Visitor Sign-Up link and Visitor Guidelines posted on our web-page (at www.MillValleyCareCenter.com).  Please continue exercising due caution, social distancing, proper hygiene, hand washing, mask wearing, etc.

Residents, tenants, and families are encouraged to connect with their loved ones via phone calls and/or video chats (FaceTime, Facebook, Skype, etc.) that are available all day.

In-house activities for the residents and tenants have resumed, following the appropriate social distancing, mask wearing, and the CDC Guidelines protocols.

The week of September 12-18, 2021 is National Assisted Living Week (NALW) 2021.  NALW was established in 1995 by the National Center for Assisted Living (NCAL), who revealed the theme for this year as being “Compassion, Community, Caring”.  It reflects the hard work and dedication of all the essential caregivers in assisted living communities during the COVID-19 pandemic.  It also represents the importance of family and remaining connected, even when they could not physically be together.  The annual, national observance provides a unique opportunity for residents, their loved ones, staff, volunteers, and local communities to celebrate the individuals who live and work in assisted living and learn more about this sector of long-term care.

There is a planned activity for each day of the week, starting with Grandparents Day (the first Sunday after Labor Day).  We hope that many grandchildren will be able to connect with their loved ones (with due respect to the various social distancing and mask wearing guidelines imposed upon us) during these trying times of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Wishing for you and yours, all of the very best, …
among which include a healthy and safe month of September.
